Christine is a former Chief People Officer who’s spent two decades scaling venture-backed startups as the right hand to founder CEOs. Most recently at Knix, she led People & Culture through intense growth and transformation.
She founded 5 to 9 Society to create what was missing - a private, high-trust network where top performers connect off the record. In a world of remote work and performative networking, this is where real conversations and opportunities ignite.

You have questions, we've got answers.
We’re launching first in Toronto, where gatherings will be hosted in-person. We welcome members across North America and expect in-person experiences to roll out in other cities later on. Out-of-city members are welcome to come to Toronto to attend our events.
We offer 4 membership tiers with unique offerings (see Membership Pricing). In addition to exclusive access, events, and connections, the the Society thrives because its members initiate opportunities, create value, and raise the collective bar. We are creating this network together.
Our membership starts at the ‘VP Level’ and above. Having worked at multiple venture-backed, high-growth companies, we found that leaders under the VP level often don’t have the work experience (or maturity) required to be able to sit at the table with executive leaders (i.e., C-Suite and Boards).
Every member is vetted for fit but also for industry. If you’re from VC or PE backed companies, the Society would be right for you. Alternatively, we are not the right fit for non-profits, government institutions, hospitals, or manufacturing. We’re looking for members who come from high-growth, often investment backed companies.
Yes, if you are referred by either member group, you will be moved up the waiting list to be considered as a new member but there will still be a formal vetting process. Every referral will go through an approval process.
The Society will provide CEOs and CHROs with potential job-to-candidate matches with members if there is a successful match. We are not a recruitment agency but do provide insights into our members with members who are hiring. If companies require formal recruitment services, we can refer vetted recruitment agency partners for them to work with.
